He's a genius all right.

This photo is from the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office, USA, and shows Jerome Smith, arrested after threatening a pregnant woman with a gun. Smith does look like a tough guy. The word ‘Genius’ misspelled on his forehead only underlines that this guy is unpredictable and probably stupid.

They should know better. The graffiti busters should really know better. Trying to fight graffiti by putting up signs with a lot of empty white space is like trying to fight flies by putting rotting meat in the sun. It does not work. And it looks silly.

Someone needs to start thinking before they place these signs.

Fucking is an Austrian village close to the German border. The name dates back for over a thousand years and is named after a man called Focko…..

Needless to say, the name of the village is an endless sources of humour, especially in connection with signs such as the one placed above.

According to Wikipedia the villagers had a vote on changing the name of the village in 2004, because it was so expensive to replace all the stolen traffic signs. The residents voted against changing the name, and instead opted to secure the signs with steel and concrete to make them harder to steal.

It always annoys me when a company that has a lot of resources fails on the easiest of tasks: Making sure that the marketing material does not include incorrect spelling, especially the text in the biggest font.
