The ninja was like a secret agent of feudal Japan, specializing in unorthodox arts of war, like espionage, infiltration, assasination, sabotage, combat and generally sneaking up on people and doing bad things to them with sharp objects. The legend lives on true millions of ninja movies and amateur ninjas like the one above.
