World Cup 2010: England goalkeeper Robert Green fails hard and lets USA score

So, the first true fail of the World Cup happened a short time ago, as England where playing USA in the first game of group C.

England goalkeeper Robert Green (club: West Ham), who somewhat surprisingly started the match, manages to avoid saving a bad shot from the American Clint Dempsey (club: Fulham). A shot directed so straight at the goalkeeper that even a zombie would have saved it. What a disaster, as the game ends 1-1.

Japanese goalkeeper magically creates own goal

This video is very similar to an own goal created 100% by Norwegian goalkeeper Bjarte Flem, featured earlier on hotfail.com.

This time, a goalkeeper from Japan is the lucky guy earning his rightful place in the goalkeeper’s hall of shame. His team-mates must have been very impressed. Time for harakiri!

One of the most famous goalkeeper mistakes ever, commited by the Norwegian goalkeeper Bjarte Flem. Utter failure is a fact when the unfortunate goalkeeper ruins his team’s 1-0 lead by throwing the ball into his own goal. Flem has since been rewarded for his extreme failure by winning numerous bloopers awards.  Bjarte – we love you.
