Japanese goalkeeper magically creates own goal

This video is very similar to an own goal created 100% by Norwegian goalkeeper Bjarte Flem, featured earlier on hotfail.com.

This time, a goalkeeper from Japan is the lucky guy earning his rightful place in the goalkeeper’s hall of shame. His team-mates must have been very impressed. Time for harakiri!

Jamie Pollock famous own goal

Jamie Pollock chips the ball over the opposition then delivers a beautiful header into the goal.

What a shame it’s his own goal!

This happened when Pollock, playing as a defender for Manchester City, were playing against Queens Park Rangers in 1998. Incredibly enough, this elegant own goal made Manchester City relegate instead of Queens Park Rangers, and QPR fans later voted Pollock as ‘the most influential man of the past 2 000 years’.
